SING SING THEATER looks more like a 1930s Shanghai hotel lobby than a regular bar or club, but don't let the retro-futuristic Chinese lanterns, the dim red lighting, or the fancy metal screens fool you – SING SING THEATER knows how to throw a great party. This bar and club on Sukhumvit Soi 45 is the idea of Bangkok-based restaurateur Ashley Sutton, known for other successful places like Maggie Choo's, Iron Fairies, Mr. Jones Orphanage, and Fat Gutz.
Inside, you'll find a small dance floor, multiple bars, mezzanines, hidden backrooms, and various single-table balconies spread out throughout the venue. What makes it special is that no matter where you are, your attention can still be on the small stage on the ground floor, like in a real theater. Every week, the bar and club attract a diverse crowd of expats and offer them a fun time with a mix of house music and hip-hop nights hosted by the Bangkok Invaders crew.
