NEON Countdown, Thailand’s biggest New Year festival, returns this December with Alesso confirmed as one of the headlining acts. The Swedish DJ and producer last performed in Thailand in 2023, where his set left a strong impression on the local crowd. After taking a break from touring due to tinnitus, his return to Bangkok marks one of the most anticipated appearances of the year.
This edition celebrates the 10th anniversary of NEON Countdown and introduces a new venue at Rajamangala National Stadium. The move to a larger space reflects the festival’s growth, aiming to create a grander year-end experience for everyone attending.
Since its launch, NEON Countdown has featured global names such as Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Afrojack. It has steadily built its place among Asia’s leading New Year festivals, known for large-scale production and high-level stage design.
Organizers have also teased possible appearances by KSHMR and Nicky Romero, though official confirmation has yet to be announced.
NEON Countdown 2025 will take place on December 30 and 31 at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok. The event marks a decade of NEON’s journey and continues its tradition of bringing the world’s top electronic artists to Thailand.
