EDC Thailand has confirmed a major schedule update for 2026, with the festival set to take place from December 18–20 at Rhythm Park Phuket. The announcement marks the first time EDC Thailand will be held at the end of the year, following its debut in January 2025 and return edition in January 2026, while also positioning the event one week after Tomorrowland Thailand.

Since its introduction, EDC Thailand has quickly established itself as one of Southeast Asia’s largest electronic music festivals, drawing international travelers alongside strong local attendance. The January 2026 edition expanded on the festival’s scale with multiple stages, large production builds, and a clear emphasis on immersive environments across the site. Rhythm Park Phuket has remained central to that identity, offering the space and infrastructure required for a festival of this size while reinforcing Phuket’s role as a recurring destination for large-scale electronic music events.

The move to December reflects a practical shift in how the festival fits into travel planning and on-site experience. January events can be difficult for international audiences navigating post-holiday schedules, while December allows more flexibility for planning trips, coordinating time off, and traveling in groups. December also aligns with Thailand’s peak travel season and brings more consistent evening conditions in Phuket, which directly affects how attendees move through the grounds, spend time between stages, and engage with daytime and nighttime areas of the festival.

Building on what was introduced in January 2026, EDC Thailand has increasingly leaned into a more rounded festival experience beyond just headline sets.
