Euphoric Hardstyle
Known for melodic structure and uplifting sound, Euphoric Hardstyle often includes layered synths, vocals, and long build-ups. Artists such as Brennan Heart, Wildstylez, Atmozfears, and Avi8 are often mentioned within this space. Lose My Mind by Brennan Heart & Wildstylez is widely recognized as one of the genre’s defining tracks.
Classic / Early Hardstyle
This style reflects the foundations of hardstyle from the early 2000s, shaped by the use of reverse basslines, overdriven kicks, and simpler rhythmic structures. Tracks such as Headhunterz – Rock Civilization are often referenced as examples from this formative era, alongside early works by Technoboy and Showtek.
Rawstyle
Rawstyle takes a darker approach, focusing on distorted kicks, tense arrangements, and minimal melodic content. Artists like Warface, Rebelion, and Delete have become prominent within this field, pushing the boundaries of intensity in hard dance.
Uptempo / Uptempo Hardcore
Uptempo pushes BPMs well above standard hardstyle, reaching speeds of 190 or more. It carries fast percussion and compact transitions, overlapping at times with hardcore. Notable names include Dimitri K, Lil Texas, and Major Conspiracy.
Each style highlights a different aspect of hard dance, offering a night that reflects the depth and variation of the genre.
