The Minister of Tourism and Sports has announced that the Cabinet has approved a five-year cooperation agreement for Thailand to host Tomorrowland, one of the world’s most prominent music festivals. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has been assigned as the main operator, with a total budget of over 2 billion baht allocated between 2026 and 2030.

Tomorrowland Thailand will be held at Wisdom Valley in Chonburi, with the first edition scheduled for late 2026 and continuing annually until 2030. This will be the first time that Tomorrowland is organized in Asia, positioning Thailand as the host country for the festival’s expansion into the region.

Management of the festival will be carried out by VR One World (Thailand), a joint venture between One Asia Ventures Co., Ltd. from Thailand and Tomorrowland International from Belgium, which holds the official license.

The government has directed the Tourism Authority of Thailand to oversee the festival, supported by other agencies including the Ministry of Public Health, the National Economic and Social Development Council, and the Eastern Economic Corridor. For the first year, the government will provide €10 million, approximately 400 million baht, from the central budget. The same funding will be granted annually for the following four years.

Tomorrowland is a festival that many countries around the world have sought to host. Thailand’s success in securing the rights is expected to attract more than one million visitors over the five-year period, generating significant benefits for tourism, contributing to economic growth, and strengthening the country’s international image.
