ZAMNA Festival Is Coming to Phuket in January 2027 and Here Is Everything You Need to Know

Latest update ZAMNA has revealed that its Phuket edition will take place at Yeden Gardens and has opened official ticket sales through Ticketmelon. The dates are unchanged at 23-24 January 2027, falling on a Saturday and Sunday. The artist lineup is still to be announced.

This is big news for electronic music fans in Thailand. ZAMNA, one of the most influential festival brands in the global underground scene, has confirmed it is coming to Phuket on 23-24 January 2027 at Yeden Gardens.

For anyone not yet familiar with the brand, this article covers what ZAMNA is, which world-class artists have played its stages, and why this edition is worth your attention.

What Is ZAMNA Festival

ZAMNA Festival is an electronic music brand rooted in house and techno that was born in the jungle of Tulum, Mexico, in 2017. Today it stands as one of the most influential destination festival brands in underground house and techno.

What sets ZAMNA apart is its setting. Events are staged around cenotes, the natural limestone sinkholes scattered through the jungle of the Riviera Maya. The name Zamna itself comes from Mayan legend, and the festival positions itself as a meeting point between world-class electronic music and nature, expressed through jungle-style stage design and a Mayan spiritual concept.

Another defining trait is the format. Rather than a traditional multi-day festival, ZAMNA runs as a series of individual events curated by globally recognised artists and labels including Afterlife, Keinemusik, Circoloco, ANTS and Tomorrowland's CORE, giving each night its own distinct character.

World-Class Artists Who Have Played ZAMNA

Over the years ZAMNA has hosted many of the scene's leading names.

Among the artists most closely associated with ZAMNA are Tale of Us and Anyma under the Afterlife banner, who have returned across 2023, 2024 and 2025, alongside Keinemusik, the Berlin trio of Adam Port, &ME and Rampa, who have played sold-out ZAMNA nights back to back.

On the melodic and progressive side the bill has included Adriatique, ARTBAT under their Upperground brand, Boris Brejcha, Mind Against, Agents of Time and Stephan Bodzin. From the house and Afro house world, Black Coffee has often been given the closing slot, joined by Solomun, Maceo Plex and BLOND:ISH.

ZAMNA has also brought chart-topping mainstream artists into the Tulum jungle, including David Guetta, who made his debut in January 2025 and returned in 2026, as well as Tiësto, RÜFÜS DU SOL, John Summit, FISHER, CamelPhat, Eric Prydz and Nina Kraviz.

Why ZAMNA Is Watched Worldwide

The first reason is scale and industry standing. Davide Rossi, Chief Marketing Officer of Zamna Group, has stated that since launching in 2017 the festival has drawn more than 160,000 attendees a year from over 120 countries. The 2025-2026 Tulum season alone, running from 31 December to 11 January, brought in 120,000 people across 12 days, the biggest season in the brand's history.

The second reason is how quickly it has expanded. Since 2022 ZAMNA has moved beyond Mexico into Dubai, Egypt at the Giza pyramids, Ibiza, India and, most recently in Southeast Asia, Bali in Indonesia. Global outlets including Mixmag, DJ Mag and EDM.com consistently place ZAMNA among the leading destination festivals in the scene.

The third reason is the closest to home. ZAMNA has already entered the Thai market once, under the ZAMNA On The Beach concept at Club SEEN on Koh Samui on 21 February 2026. The return in Phuket in January 2027 is a larger and fuller production.

What Is Confirmed for the Phuket Edition

Three things are now confirmed for ZAMNA Phuket: the dates of 23-24 January 2027, the venue at Yeden Gardens, and official ticket sales through Ticketmelon.

The ticketing page lists a 16:00 start on 23 January and a minimum age of 20. Tickets are split into four types: 1 Day GA, 2 Day GA, 1 Day VIP Backstage and 2 Day VIP Backstage.

In its official announcement the organiser describes the event as two full days across a single weekend and as the brand's first time in Phuket. The artist lineup has not been revealed and is described as coming soon.

ZAMNA is not simply another music festival. It is a brand that has built a distinctive way of merging house and techno with nature, and it has already hosted artists of the calibre of Anyma, ARTBAT, Keinemusik, Black Coffee and David Guetta. With the venue revealed and tickets on sale, the Phuket edition is a significant step for the Thai EDM scene and one electronic music fans should not miss.
