808 Festival 2025 took place from 5–7 December at BITEC Bangna, with three nights of electronic music performances in Bangkok. The mainstage hosted artists across all three days, while Saturday featured the Drumcode takeover on a second stage and Sunday featured the Monstercat takeover

Friday was hosted by We Rave You on the mainstage and kept its focus on techno and harder electronic styles. Mr. Black opened the night with psytrance selections, setting a clear direction for what followed. Juliet Fox B2B Meguru played next as the only B2B set of the festival. MaRLo played later with the trance sound he is known for, and when he played “Lighter Than Air,” the reaction across the room shifted immediately before he moved into his Venom direction with harder tracks. Maddix played after MaRLo with his big room techno style, adding another strong moment to the night. Reinier Zonneveld closed Day 1 with a live set many had been waiting to see, marking both his first appearance in Thailand and his debut at 808 Festival. Maddix joined him briefly during the performance as a nod to their collaboration on “Girls Go Freak,” adding another highlight to an already anticipated closing set.

Saturday’s mainstage featured William Kiss, Odd Mob, and Sammy Virji before Dom Dolla closed the night, marking his first performance in Thailand. William Kiss played earlier in the day on the mainstage. Odd Mob followed with bass house and club tracks consistent with their recent releases. Sammy Virji played later in the evening with UK garage tracks and edits that align with his usual club sets. Dom Dolla closed Saturday with a house set built around the style he is known for. On the second stage, Saturday was reserved for the Drumcode takeover, with Di Sun, Hntr, Space 92, Massano, and Pan-Pot playing techno sets throughout the day under the Drumcode banner.

Sunday closed the weekend with Charlotte de Witte headlining the mainstage, bringing the festival back into a techno framework for its final night. Earlier on the mainstage, international acts including Lucas & Steve, Malaa’s Alter Ego, Netsky, and TRYM appeared across the day. On the second stage, the Monstercat takeover ran throughout Sunday, with Wuki closing the stage. His closing set leaned heavily on mashups and recognisable edits, turning the final stretch into a continuous singalong, with the crowd repeatedly calling for additional tracks as the set reached its end.

By the end of Sunday night at BITEC Bangna, 808 Festival 2025 felt like three full days spent across many sides of electronic music. Some people stayed with the same artists for hours, others moved between sets, and many returned each day with different plans. Across techno, house, bass, and label-led takeovers, the weekend offered a lot to listen to and experience. As the final sets ended, people left tired, satisfied, and still talking about the sets they had seen over the three days.
