Alesso and Ryan Tedder may be reuniting for new music, ten years after their hit remix of If I Lose Myself. The Swedish producer and OneRepublic’s lead singer shared a photo together on Instagram, captioned “Possibly long overdue,” leading to speculation about an upcoming release.
Their 2013 remix transformed OneRepublic’s original track into a progressive house favorite. Alesso’s production reshaped the song into something festival crowds could sing along to, while Tedder’s vocals remained the emotional core. Even a decade later, the track continues to be a go-to in sets and playlists.
A new collaboration could see them revisit their progressive house roots or take a different approach. Alesso has explored a range of sounds in recent years, from instrumental productions to crossover hits, while Tedder has frequently worked with electronic artists, lending his vocals to collaborations with Kygo, David Guetta, and Galantis.
While no official details have been revealed, fans will be watching closely to see if this long-awaited reunion leads to a new release.
