The new compilation album Avicii Forever is now officially available on all major streaming platforms. Released by Interscope Records in partnership with the Avicii Estate and Swedish entertainment company Pophouse, the album gathers 20 songs that reflect the full range of Tim Bergling’s career as a producer and songwriter.
Among the most notable features of the release is the song “Let’s Ride Away,” a collaboration with Elle King that had never been released before. The track was originally written during a session with Kacey Musgraves before Avicii’s death in 2018. Although several unofficial versions of the song have circulated online, this version was completed in the studio by Carl Falk, one of Avicii’s longtime collaborators, who recorded new vocals with King and finished the production.
Alongside this new song, the album includes some of Avicii’s best-known releases such as “Wake Me Up,” “Levels,” “The Nights,” “Hey Brother,” and “Without You” featuring Sandro Cavazza. Songs from the posthumous 2019 album Tim are also part of the collection, including “SOS” with Aloe Blacc and “Heart Upon My Sleeve” with Imagine Dragons. Other selections on the album include “Silhouettes,” “Addicted to You,” and “I Could Be The One” with Nicky Romero.
Avicii Forever follows a series of recent projects created in collaboration with the Avicii Estate and Pophouse. These include the 2024 Netflix documentary I’m Tim, a filmed version of his last live show in Ibiza, and a coffee table photo book titled Avicii: The Life and Music of Tim Bergling. The Avicii Experience, an interactive museum exhibition dedicated to his life and work, continues to operate in Stockholm.
This is the second compilation project released since Avicii’s passing, following the 2021 EP Live a Life You Will Remember. Compared to previous efforts, Avicii Forever offers a broader overview of the music that shaped his legacy, featuring work from each chapter of his career.
