Phuket’s party scene has grown in recent years, with more international DJs and curated events shaping how the island moves after dark. From oceanfront setups to packed club nights, here are the venues making it happen in 2025.
Café Del Mar – Kamala Beach
Ranked #45 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs of 2025, climbing 25 spots from the previous year, Café Del Mar continues to hold its place as one of Phuket’s most internationally respected venues. Right on Kamala Beach, it has brought in artists like Amelie Lens, Peggy Gou, Rampa, &ME, and ARTBAT. With a beachfront pool, restaurant service, and smooth transitions from sunset into night, it remains a go-to for house and melodic techno. Weekends usually feature guest bookings and themed events, while weekdays stay more laid-back with resident DJs setting the tone.
Illuzion – Patong
Located on Bangla Road, Illuzion is one of Phuket’s most established clubs and was ranked #9 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs of 2025, moving up two spots from the previous year. The venue spans three levels, with full lighting rigs, a large main room, and elevated viewing areas. It has hosted names like DJ Snake, Hugel, Axwell, Tchami x Malaa, Matroda, Joel Corry, FISHER, and Afrojack. The crowd includes both locals and international visitors, especially during holiday periods and touring seasons. If you're after a well-equipped space with big-name DJs, Illuzion is a reliable choice.
YONA Beach Club – Off Kamala Coast
Floating just off the shoreline, YONA adjusts its boat access depending on the season. From April to early November, you can get there via shuttle from Royal Phuket Marina. From mid-November to mid-April, boats depart from Patong Boat Pier. Its multi-level deck includes an infinity pool and all-day dining. DJs like Adriatique, ALAR, Alexey Union, and Loco Dice have already played here, making it a standout for those into Afro and progressive house.
Maya Beach Club – Kata Beach
Right on Kata Beach, Maya Beach Club brings together daytime lounging and night-time music events. It has hosted DJs like The Avener, Chambord, Novak, and Omnya, often during weekend parties or seasonal series like Tulum Moon and Sanctuary. The setup stays casual, but the bookings are carefully selected, with a focus on melodic house and global-inspired sounds. You can come for sunset drinks and end up staying much later.
Barra Cuda Beach Club – Patong
Right on the sands of Patong Beach, Barra Cuda offers a full-day experience with beachfront dining, daybeds, and a pool you can actually dance in. By day, it’s a spot to relax with good food from La Riviera, a restaurant known for its seafood platters, grilled dishes, and pizza. As the sun goes down, the music gets louder and the party moves poolside. With DJs, light shows, and a space designed for both lounging and letting loose, it draws both locals and tourists looking for something different from the usual club night.
Barra Cuda Beach Club Location
The Library – Phuket Town
Ranked number 3 on EDM Addicts’ list of Top 20 Clubs in Thailand, The Library is tucked behind a bookshelf entrance in Phuket Town and offers a two-level setup with a bar downstairs and a dance floor upstairs. The first floor focuses on cocktails and conversation, while the upper level brings in DJs for weekend parties. Past bookings have included Justin James and local names like Bonggaboyz. It attracts a mix of locals and travelers looking for something smaller than the big clubs but still built around good music.
These venues offer more than just a night out. Each one has built a reputation for bringing in the right artists and shaping nights people actually remember. Plan ahead, check the lineups, and find the space that fits what you’re looking for. There’s no single way to party in Phuket. That’s exactly the point.
