On 30 September 2025, the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Awards took place in Ibiza for the first time, hosted at the island’s new superclub UNVRS. The 32nd edition marked a major moment for dance music, bringing performances from Armin van Buuren, Boris Brejcha, Indira Paganotto, Jazzy, Miss Monique, and the newly crowned World’s No. 1 DJ. Alongside the main rankings, special awards such as Highest New Entry and Highest Climber reflected the trends and changes shaping electronic music in 2025.
After the performances and special awards, the main spotlight turned to the Top 100 announcement. The results highlighted familiar names at the very top, showing how established artists continue to shape the global electronic music scene.
Top 3 DJs of 2025
World’s No. 1 DJ 2025: David Guetta – David Guetta returned to the top position with worldwide tours and major collaborations that reinforced his influence in dance music.
Number 2: Martin Garrix – Martin Garrix stayed among the leaders of the poll with headline festival appearances and new releases that reached audiences around the world.
Number 3: Alok – Alok rose to third place with a strong year of international shows and productions, continuing his impact as one of Brazil’s most recognized artists globally.
Other Notable Positions in 2025
Beyond the top three, several artists earned recognition through both their rankings and special awards, underlining the variety of styles represented in this year’s list.
Key Rankings and Titles:
No. 4: Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – The Belgian duo continued their strong run inside the top five and were also crowned the World’s No. 1 DJ Group, a title that highlights their global fanbase and festival presence.
No. 5: Armin van Buuren – Armin van Buuren not only finished in fifth place but was also named the World’s No. 1 Trance DJ. His contributions across decades were further recognized with the Outstanding Contribution Award, reflecting his lasting impact on the genre.
No. 7: FISHER – FISHER placed seventh and picked up the award for World’s No. 1 House DJ, following a year of high-profile sets and charting tracks that expanded his influence far beyond club circuits.
No. 9: Charlotte de Witte – Charlotte de Witte made history once again as the highest-ranked female artist, taking ninth overall and being crowned the World’s No. 1 Techno DJ, reinforcing her role as a leader in the underground scene.
Other Highlights:
Anyma – Climbed seven places to reach Number 10, marking another milestone in his rise within melodic techno.
Keinemusik – The Berlin collective rose fifteen places to reach Number 20, one of the largest climbs in this year’s poll. Their steady growth reflects the wider recognition of their distinct sound and collaborative approach.

In addition to the main rankings, DJ Mag also recognized artists through special categories that highlight breakthrough success and long-term influence.
