John Summit has been confirmed to close Ultra Music Festival 2026, taking the final mainstage set of the weekend. Ultra included the placement in its latest announcement, and John Summit followed with his own confirmation, adding that he will debut new music from his upcoming album during the performance.
John Summit’s history with Ultra Miami began in 2022 on the Resistance Cove stage. The appearance introduced him to the festival through a smaller setting that matched the early stage of his international profile. It marked his first connection to Ultra and placed him within the broader lineup at a time when his name was starting to rise across the electronic scene.
His next appearance came in 2025, when he moved to the mainstage for a B2B set with Dom Dolla under their Everything Always project. The performance represented a clear shift in visibility, placing both artists in front of the largest audience at the festival and highlighting how far John Summit had progressed in just a few years.
For 2026, John Summit will close the entire weekend with a solo mainstage set, making this his most prominent Ultra moment to date. The position is significant on its own, but his decision to preview material from his new album adds further interest as Ultra approaches.
Ultra will release additional information about its schedule closer to the event. For now, the confirmation of John Summit as the final act of Ultra 2026 stands as one of the central announcements for next year’s edition and marks a strong milestone in his continuing run at the festival.
