Madonna returned with a new full length album, Confessions II, on July 3, 2026. It is her 15th studio album and her first full length record in seven years, going back to Madame X in 2019.
This is more than a comeback. It is a return to the ground she has always stood on most firmly, the dance floor. Confessions II is a direct sequel to Confessions on a Dance Floor, her 2005 album, and this time she is working with producer Stuart Price again, roughly 21 years after the first record.

What made this album worth watching before anyone even heard it is how it positions itself as a sequel to Confessions on a Dance Floor, the 2005 record many people count as one of Madonna's defining dance albums. Bringing Stuart Price back after about 21 years is a clear signal that she wants to build on that chapter.
One of the most talked about tracks on the album is Bizarre, a song Martin Garrix worked on with the writing team. It sits as track 10 on the deluxe edition.
For EDM fans, Martin Garrix is probably one of the most familiar international DJs already, so seeing him land on a Madonna album is an interesting sign of how well pop and EDM go together now. By reports, Martin Garrix said he felt starstruck when he met Madonna in New York to record together.
Before the song was even out, Bizarre had already been played live. Martin Garrix played the track live for the first time at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday, June 13, 2026, during his Americas Tour.
That same night he brought the song back again at the afterparty at Marquee. All of this happened while the track had still not been officially released.
Beyond Bizarre with Martin Garrix, Confessions II also brings in Sabrina Carpenter, Stromae, and Tainy. The album is out now on Spotify and Apple Music, and for anyone who follows EDM, the track to play is Bizarre with Martin Garrix.
