Pendulum has announced the release of INERTIA, their first full-length album in over 15 years. Out on August 22, the album follows Immersion from 2010 and comes with a full tracklist already revealed.

The first single, “Save The Cat,” combines raw drum and bass with rock influences and direct, emotional vocals from Rob Swire. He wrote the track during a period of uncertainty and said it reflects the process of finding clarity after personal setbacks. “It’s about us finding our way back,” Swire said. “I learned a lot about myself during that time.”

The album includes 16 songs and features guest appearances from Bullet For My Valentine, AWOLNATION, Hybrid Minds, Wargasm, and Joey Valence & Brae. It keeps elements of Pendulum’s earlier work while building on new sounds they’ve explored in recent years.

Swire also spoke about The Prodigy as a group he looks up to, not just for their music but for how they evolved without losing their identity. That balance is something he hopes Pendulum continues to achieve.

INERTIA will be released through Mushroom Music. Pre-save is available now on major streaming platforms.
