The album features collaborations with Kerli, HALIENE, Lilly Ahlberg, Oaks, No/Me, and Fiora, offering a wide range of sounds from Cinematic, Melodic, and Trance to Dubstep and Drum & Bass. Together, these elements make the album a strong reflection of Seven Lions’ musical journey.
Tracklist (11 tracks)
- From rising producer to global artist
Seven Lions, also known as Jeff Montalvo, first gained attention in 2012 after winning the Beatport Remix Contest with his Dubstep remix of You Got to Go by Above & Beyond. This quickly led to him signing with OWSLA, the label founded by Skrillex.
His breakout release Days To Come helped introduce him to a wider audience. In 2013, Seven Lions performed at Ultra Music Festival as one of OWSLA’s rising artists, marking an important turning point in his career.

- An album that builds the world of Seven Lions
In 2025, Seven Lions takes on a new creative challenge with Asleep In The Garden Of Infernal Stars, an album that is deeply personal. Jeff has shared that the album title comes from returning to the things he has loved since the beginning, including fantasy books, metal music, and song titles that spark imagination at first glance.
The idea of creating a full “album world” is carefully carried through every track, connecting the songs through mood, atmosphere, and emotion.
- Three singles that show the album’s range
Before the album release, Seven Lions shared three singles that highlight its diversity:
By the Light of the Moon (feat. Kerli)
A reunion with Kerli after their 2014 track Worlds Apart, delivering an emotional melodic sound throughout the song.
So Far Away (feat. Lilly Ahlberg)
Seven Lions’ first Drum & Bass track, telling a story of distance and longing while keeping a strong emotional core.
Cold as Snow (feat. HALIENE)
His sixth collaboration with HALIENE, inspired by metal music and built with layered instrumentation. Jeff has described it as one of the saddest tracks on the album.
In addition, eight more tracks await listeners, each with its own sound and character.
- More than 10 years of growth and evolution
Over the past decade, Seven Lions has released music on major labels such as Ultra Records, Anjunabeats, and Monstercat, and collaborated with artists including Illenium, Excision, Subtronics, SLANDER, and Gryffin.
His constant evolution as a producer has led to a sound that is deeper and more detailed over time. This journey also led him to launch his own label, Ophelia Records, focusing on melodic electronic music and becoming an important platform for artists in the genre.
