The champion of the first half is Free Your Mind by Cloonee & Prospa, picked up 220 times. Released on March 27, 2026 through CircoLoco Records, it samples Oh, How I Love You, a 1993 deep house cut by Sybil, and went all the way to the UK singles top 10. The clearest trend on this chart: the old stuff got reworked and whole crowds still sing along. At number 3, Greece 2000 (Max Styler Rework) revives the 1997 progressive trance anthem by Three Drives, the Dutch duo whose original peaked at number 12 on the UK chart and has been remixed more than 50 times. Max Styler first unveiled this edit at EDC Las Vegas 2025, then artists like Anyma, Dom Dolla, Adam Beyer and Armin van Buuren passed it along in their own sets before the official release on Armada Music on January 9, 2026. Number 2, La La Land, took the same road: MEDUZA teamed up with GENESI and ESSENTIA to turn the 2001 track by Green Velvet, the Chicago house legend, into a tech house version that circulated as an ID in DJ sets from late 2025 until its official release on May 15, 2026.

The ID stories don't stop there. neck by Mau P started as the mystery track everyone hunted after his set at the Sahara Tent at Coachella 2025, before its official release on February 6, 2026 through Black Book Records. Loco Loco is the most accidental collab on the list: GORDO played an anonymous ID he said he found in his DMs, it went viral across tens of thousands of TikTok and Reels clips, then the track was revealed to be a Reinier Zonneveld production, and the two joined forces on the official version released via Spinnin' Records on February 13, 2026.

The streaming numbers have their own champion. Talk To You by ANOTR featuring 54 Ultra, a disco house cut from their third album Withness released on their own NO ART label, has passed 160 million Spotify streams. Max Styler, meanwhile, has a second entry on the list with Freaky 1, written with Ali Love in Amsterdam around 3 years ago and first unveiled in the middle of Vintage Culture's set at Ultra Miami on March 27, 2026. That puts Max Styler on 2 of the 10 tracks in this chart (numbers 3 and 6). The first half of 2026 clearly belonged to him.

The bottom of the list has stories too. So Good is the CamelPhat and Josh Gigante collab with Kuuda on board, released May 22, 2026 on When Stars Align. Control marks the Black Book Records debut of both AFROJACK and Lucas & Steve, which gives Chris Lake's label 2 tracks on this chart (numbers 5 and 9). And closing things out is Vision Blurred, where Kaskade and CID, partners for over a decade, brought in Anabel Englund and released their first track together on John Summit's Experts Only label on January 23, 2026.
