What happened at Electric Zoo this year?
Over the weekend, Electric Zoo became a hot topic in the EDM world after experiencing one crisis after another, from the cancellation of the first day to the long wait times to enter on the second day, and finally the biggest crisis on the last day that caused a lot of chaos for fans.
Let's take a closer look at each day:
On the first day, the festival announced the cancellation of the day's programming through social media, as the main stage was not ready for performances. This left many people stranded at the festival site.
On the second day, after the cancellation of the first day, chaos ensued as attendees waited for more than four hours to enter the festival. This was due to delays in the ticket-checking process. One attendee reported that she was only able to enter the festival for half an hour before the second day ended.
On the final day of the festival, the chaos reached its peak. Electric Zoo announced that the festival was at capacity, and they closed the gates to new attendees. However, many people were unwilling to leave, and a scuffle ensued as people tried to force their way into the festival.
