Every week brings new EDM releases that push different sounds and styles forward, whether it is house, trance, drum and bass, or bass-heavy productions. With so much arriving on platforms each Friday, it can be hard to catch everything. We’ve picked five songs that stand out this week, from high-profile collaborations to creative reworks, showing the variety currently shaping electronic music.

Martin Garrix and Arcando ft. Bonn – Set Me Free

Martin Garrix released Set Me Free, his first song produced in the drum and bass style, together with Dutch producer Arcando and Swedish singer-songwriter Bonn. The single was released on STMPD RCRDS, the label founded by Martin Garrix. Bonn previously worked with Martin Garrix on High On Life in 2018, which became one of the most recognizable releases in his catalog. Their reunion brings back that connection while placing Bonn’s voice within the faster rhythms and textures of drum and bass, showing Martin Garrix exploring a new sound while keeping his melodic approach intact.

Armin van Buuren ft. Malou – Everything I Wanted

Armin van Buuren collaborated with Malou on a trance version of Billie Eilish’s Everything I Wanted. The song had already been played during his live sets for more than a year before being officially released on August 21, 2025, through Armada Music. It was also selected for A State of Trance, Ibiza 2025, a compilation based on Armin van Buuren’s six-hour set at Ushuaïa earlier in the summer. The inclusion links the single to his current Ibiza projects, and for Malou it adds another milestone following her previous features in electronic music.

MaRLo – Without Limits

MaRLo released Without Limits as the official theme for ALTITUDE 2025, his festival brand that takes place on August 30 at Sydney Showground. ALTITUDE has become a key part of MaRLo’s career, combining large-scale shows with original songs written specifically for the event. Each year he ties a new production to the festival, and Without Limits continues that tradition by giving the brand a distinct musical identity while also adding to his catalog of trance releases.

Ray Volpe – Crash Out

Ray Volpe released Crash Out on August 22, 2025, as the final single before his debut album Forever, Volpetron. He explained that the production revisits ideas from his 2017 work, while reshaping them for the album format. The single came out through VOLPEVERSE, Ray Volpe’s own imprint, and was released alongside the announcement of his Forever, Volpetron tour, which will feature a new stage design and updated visuals.

Dom Dolla – No Room For A Saint (Walker & Royce Remix)

Dom Dolla’s collaboration with Nathan Nicholson, No Room For A Saint, was first included on F1 the Album, the soundtrack to the 2025 Formula 1 film released in June. On August 18, 2025, Walker & Royce released their remix of the single. While the original was tied to a cinematic release, the remix reshapes it for clubs and festivals, introducing a darker sound that has already been supported in live performances.

Every week, the EDM scene brings more songs than we could possibly cover, but these five highlight both new directions and major remixes. Want to explore further?
