Tomorrowland has partnered with Amazon Music to present We Are Tomorrow, a 24-minute documentary filled with emotion, reflection, and inspiration. It shares the heart, dreams, and togetherness of people from around the world who come to experience the world’s largest electronic music festival. The film gives a deep look at the “People of Tomorrow,” a global community that makes Tomorrowland more than just a festival but a shared dream for people everywhere.
The premiere took place at The Culver Theater in Los Angeles, with John Summit attending alongside attendees and creators. The documentary follows his journey from an accountant to an international DJ, marking his first-ever performance on Tomorrowland’s Mainstage. His story is told alongside that of Ladick from the Czech Republic, who uses a wheelchair, and Mia and Ella, a mother and daughter from Canada who continue to face illness with love and strength.
Viewers also meet Rachael from Scotland, who left her island home to attend her first festival, and Mireya and Nikita from the United States, a couple who met by chance at Tomorrowland and built a lasting relationship.
Through its interwoven storytelling, We Are Tomorrow celebrates more than music. It conveys the power of humanity, shared experience, and the transformative spirit that defines Tomorrowland.
John Summit shares a sincere reflection:
“I’ve learned everything from my mistakes and try to make myself better than I was yesterday. I feel like this is only the beginning.”
The documentary also revisits the day of the major fire incident, showing how the Tomorrowland community faced loss and recovery together. It presents the story honestly and respectfully, reminding viewers that despite every challenge, Tomorrowland rebuilt and learned from its mistakes. Even without the grand, detailed stage designs of previous years, what truly mattered was the People of Tomorrow who never gave up and continued to support the Tomorrowland team.
