DJ Mag has announced that the Top 100 DJs Awards 2025 will be held at UNVRS Ibiza on September 30. This marks the first time in the event’s 32-year history that the ceremony will take place on the island. The night will reveal the new World’s No. 1 DJ and present additional honors, including Highest New Entry, Highest Climber, Future Star, and Outstanding Contribution. UNVRS, which opened in summer 2025, will host the full awards program in its debut season.

UNVRS Ibiza sits on the grounds of the former Ku and Privilege clubs, venues that have hosted some of the biggest nights in dance music history. The redesigned space features a multi-level layout, advanced sound systems, and large-scale LED installations built for live broadcast events. Its location near San Rafael places it between Ibiza Town and San Antonio, making it accessible from both major nightlife hubs. Hosting the DJ Mag 2025 Top 100 DJs Awards gives UNVRS a global stage during its opening year.

UNVRS Ibiza’s launch this summer has featured headline residencies and one-off performances by a wide roster of international artists. Carl Cox returned to the island with a weekly Sunday residency that began on June 22 and runs through September 21. Mondays are led by Eric Prydz’s Holosphere 2.0 show, which opened on June 2 for a 14-week run with holograms, custom LED visuals, and updated animations. Other residencies include Anyma from July, Fisher on Thursdays, David Guetta’s Galactic Circus on Fridays, Jamie Jones’s Paradise on Wednesdays, and Elrow Ibiza on Saturdays.

The DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll is one of the most recognised public-voted awards in electronic music, drawing millions of votes from fans around the world each year. Voting for the 2025 edition opened in July and will close in mid-September, with the final results revealed live on stage at UNVRS Ibiza. In addition to the main ranking, the ceremony will feature presentations for categories such as Highest New Entry, Highest Climber, Future Star, and Outstanding Contribution, offering recognition across different stages of an artist’s career.

Past winners of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs title include artists such as David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Armin van Buuren, and Hardwell, many of whom have topped the poll multiple times. The ranking often reflects shifts in electronic music trends, with big room, trance, house, and techno artists each dominating different years. The 2025 ceremony in Ibiza will be the first time the winner is announced from a Mediterranean stage, marking a new milestone in the history of the awards.

This year’s event also includes a partnership with Bridges for Music, a non-profit organisation that supports music and arts education in underserved communities. Attendees will be given the option to donate when purchasing tickets, adding a philanthropic dimension to the ceremony. The collaboration reflects an effort to connect one of electronic music’s most visible platforms with initiatives that foster opportunities for young creative talent worldwide.

Voting for DJ Mag 2025’s Top 100 DJs poll is open now and will close at 05:59 Thailand time on 11 September 2025. Fans have until then to choose their favourites before the results are revealed live on 30 September at UNVRS Ibiza. With the ceremony marking its first appearance on the island and taking place in Ibiza’s newest large-scale venue, the 2025 edition is set to be a landmark moment in the awards’ 32-year history.
