DJS FROM MARS

DJs from Mars, an Italian DJ and production team, gained fame for transforming popular songs into electronic dance music through mashups. The project began in 2003 when Luca Emanuele Ventrafridda (aka Luca Ventafunk) and Massimiliano Garino (aka Max Aqualuce) met at Bliss Corporation, known for Eiffel 65's success in the late 1990s. They teamed up after working on various tracks together under different aliases for the label, launching "DJs from Mars" a few years later. With support from their manager Jason Nevins, they crafted official remixes for artists like Sean Paul, Pitbull, and Sophie Ellis Bextor. DJs from Mars earned a spot on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list in 2013 and were featured prominently in Gillette's "Shave Forth" advertising campaign in 2015.
