In Bangkok, the tremors led to the collapse of a 30-story building under construction in the Chatuchak district, resulting in at least ten fatalities and numerous injuries. Additionally, 169 buildings across the city sustained structural damage, primarily those under construction.
Despite these incidents, Bangkok’s nightlife is quickly returning to normal operations. Last night, several establishments, including MU:IN and Spaceplus, released official announcements to temporarily close their doors as a precaution. This move highlights their commitment to ensuring guest safety.
By today, most clubs have resumed their regular schedules. Rhodes and LIV were fully operational last night, with other venues reopening throughout the day. Onyx is hosting an event tonight featuring Ezra Hazard, while Spaceplus and MU:IN are also back to normal operations.
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has urged all building owners, especially those of high-rise structures, to conduct thorough structural inspections to ensure safety.
Bangkok’s nightlife scene remains active, with clubs and venues across the city back to operating as usual.
