Many people know Creamfields as one of the most iconic dance music festivals from the UK, drawing tens of thousands of attendees each year. But did you know it didn’t start out as a festival? It actually began as a weekly club night promoted in Liverpool.

Back in 1992, Creamfields was just a regular club night called Cream, held weekly at a small venue named Nation (formerly known as Snobs Disco) in the heart of Liverpool.
The club events ran for over a decade, from October 1992 until June 2002, before evolving into the festival we now know as Creamfields, which takes place in Daresbury, UK, attracting dance music fans from all over the world.
From a small club night to a global music festival, who would have thought that the sounds echoing from a tiny Liverpool club 30 years ago would grow into one of the world’s most iconic dance events?
