Kids Aged 5 and 7 Set the Record for Youngest b2b DJ Duo as DJ Faculty Lounge, With a Combined Age of Just 4,476 Days

EDM.com reports that two kids, aged 5 and 7, performing together as DJ Faculty Lounge, have set the record for youngest b2b DJ duo by combined age. RecordSetter, the alternative record-keeping platform, certified the record at a combined age of 4,476 days, or roughly 12 years in total.

The duo consists of LeeLee, age 5 and about to start kindergarten, and CXRTER, age 7. RecordSetter sent the family an email confirmation along with a digital certificate.

The reason this record does not sit with Guinness World Records is simple. According to EDM.com, Guinness has no category for b2b DJ sets, so the family went through RecordSetter instead, making this a duo record counted by combined age.

The part that makes the story extra charming is the name itself. Faculty Lounge fits the theme perfectly, because LeeLee's next show this fall is headlining the back-to-school night at their own K-6 school, in front of friends, parents and teachers.

Their taste in music is on the right track too. EDM.com notes the duo loves Avicii, Calvin Harris and Zedd, and there is even a YouTube short of LeeLee at age 4 learning to mix.

Young record-setting DJs are not new to the scene. DJ Archie (Archie Norbury) from the UK holds the Guinness record for youngest club DJ (male), earned at Bungalow club in Hong Kong on March 30, 2019 at the age of 4 years and 130 days, before becoming the youngest DJ ever to play Tomorrowland at age 9, opening the Atmosphere stage in 2024. DJ Faculty Lounge's record is a separate category counted by combined age, so DJ Archie's records are not affected.

Which means one school's back-to-school night this year will be headlined by a kid who just started kindergarten there, and who already holds a record.
