GRiZ, the American bass music producer and DJ behind hits like Griztronics and Good Times Roll, has performed at some of the world’s biggest festivals, including Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, and Lost Lands. His influence in the bass scene has made him one of the genre’s most recognized artists.
However, in October 2023, GRiZ announced his retirement through social media, stating, "It’s time for me to take a step back. It’s been an honor to share this journey with you all. See you later... GRiZ fam for life 💜."
Now, after nearly two years of stepping away, he’s officially back, declaring “WE ARE SO BACK!” alongside the announcement of his new festival, Seven Stars Fest. The event, set for October 10–12, will bring a lineup filled with bass-heavy acts, including Subtronics, Levity, Of The Trees, Wooli, Ravenscoon, and more.
In a recent video, GRiZ also teased new dubstep music, with a voice saying "I'm back" before the drop. This signals his return not just to performing but also to releasing new music. After taking time off in 2023 to travel and spend time with family, he previously shared, “Life is amazing, but sometimes I get so caught up that I don’t take a moment to see how far I’ve come.” Now, GRiZ is ready to step back into the bass music scene.
Fans won’t want to miss this. Seven Stars Fest pre-sale tickets go live on March 19, with general admission tickets available starting March 21.
