DJ Snake and J Balvin have officially dropped Noventa, their latest collaboration and a preview of DJ Snake’s upcoming album Nomad.
Released on July 2, the single brings the pair back together for the first time since 2019’s Loco Contigo, which featured rapper Tyga and became a global favorite across clubs and festivals.
The word Noventa means “ninety” in Spanish, setting the tone for a track shaped by 1990s influences. From its production to its visuals, the project taps into old-school style while staying grounded in today’s global dance and reggaeton scenes. DJ Snake’s beat selection complements J Balvin’s vocals with a midtempo groove that leans into rhythm over drops, creating a sound fit for both street parties and summer playlists.
The music video was filmed in New York City and matches the retro theme with VHS-style visuals, classic street dance scenes, and graphics inspired by vintage TV. The single’s cover art also nods to the bold, colorful aesthetics of the MTV era.
This release adds to a growing list of collaborations between the two artists. Their previous hit, Loco Contigo, was one of the most streamed Latin-electronic crossovers of the last decade. With Noventa, they return with familiar chemistry, blending their styles across languages and regions.
As DJ Snake prepares for the full release of Nomad later this year, Noventa sets the direction for what listeners can expect: international collaborations, genre-spanning ideas, and sounds made for dancefloors around the world.
Noventa is available now on all major platforms.
