EDC Las Vegas 2027 Is Going to Two Weekends for the First Time in Its 30-Year History

20 May, Wednesday 185
Festival

EDC Las Vegas just changed everything.

Following the sold-out 30th anniversary edition, Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella has officially announced that EDC Las Vegas will expand to two consecutive weekends in 2027 for the first time in the festival's history, introducing a brand new concept called Dusk Till Dawn.

EDC Dusk runs May 14-16 and EDC Dawn runs May 21-23, 2027, both at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

How It Works

Attendees can choose to attend EDC Dusk, EDC Dawn, or both weekends under the full Dusk Till Dawn Experience. The lineup will be the same across both weekends, similar to the Coachella model rather than the Tomorrowland model which runs different lineups each weekend.

Between the two weekends, EDC Week will take center stage with curated EDC-themed events planned throughout Las Vegas. Full details on EDC Week programming, Camp EDC, and Hotel EDC will be announced in the coming months.

Lower Capacity, More Space

One of the most significant practical changes for 2027 is that EDC Las Vegas will operate at a lower capacity across both weekends, giving attendees more space on the dance floor and reducing the travel and accommodation pressure that has grown alongside the festival's scale over the years.

Ticket prices reflect this shift. One-weekend GA passes start at $399.99 all-in, while two-weekend Dusk Till Dawn GA passes start at $599.99 all-in. GA+ for one weekend starts at $499.99 and VIP for one weekend starts at $899.99. Layaway plans are available for all ticket types with just a $5 deposit. Tickets go on sale Friday May 22 at 12 PM PT via Front Gate.

Why This Is a Big Deal

EDC Las Vegas has remained a single-weekend festival throughout its entire 30-year run, even as other major global festivals including Tomorrowland, Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Austin City Limits, and Electric Forest all expanded to two weekends at various points in their histories. The fact that EDC held out this long made the announcement feel inevitable when it finally came, and the Dusk Till Dawn branding gives it a sense of creative intention rather than just a capacity play.

Rotella put it simply: "I'm really excited to introduce Dusk Till Dawn as the next evolution of EDC and offer new ways for Headliners to experience the music, art, connection and community that make this festival so special. We wanted to reimagine EDC as a new type of immersive journey across two consecutive weekend celebrations in one city we love."

Artist lineups, stage themes, and full citywide event details for 2027 have not yet been announced.
