Thailand is set to become the only country in the world to host both Tomorrowland Thailand and Electric Daisy Carnival Thailand within the same calendar month. Tomorrowland Thailand will be held from December 11–13, 2026 at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya, followed exactly one week later by Electric Daisy Carnival Thailand from December 18–20, 2026 at Rhythm Park Phuket.
Tomorrowland Thailand marks the first full-scale Tomorrowland festival to be staged in Asia. Pattaya was selected as the host city due to its proximity to Bangkok, access to international airports, and the availability of large development zones capable of supporting long-term festival infrastructure. Wisdom Valley has been positioned as a purpose-built site designed to accommodate Tomorrowland’s large-scale themed production, extended build timelines, and high international attendance.
Electric Daisy Carnival Thailand returns for its third consecutive year after debuting in January 2025 and expanding further in January 2026. The festival remains at Rhythm Park Phuket, a venue that has already proven capable of handling EDC’s multi-stage layout, high crowd capacity, and immersive site design. The shift from January to December places EDC Thailand firmly within peak travel season and aligns the event with global holiday travel patterns.
Hosting both festivals within the same month is unprecedented due to the scale and logistical demands of each brand. Tomorrowland operates as a destination-based festival with long-stay international travel, while Electric Daisy Carnival functions as one of the world’s largest touring electronic music festivals with editions across multiple continents. Countries that host one brand have not historically hosted the other within the same calendar window. Thailand’s ability to secure both reflects sustained confidence from global promoters in the country’s production capabilities, infrastructure readiness, and audience demand.
The geographic separation between Pattaya and Phuket is a critical factor in making this possible. Each city operates as a distinct tourism hub with its own airport access, accommodation capacity, and transport networks. This distribution allows Thailand to host two world-class electronic music festivals within weeks of each other without operational overlap, while showcasing different regions of the country to international visitors.
For festivalgoers, December 2026 presents a rare opportunity to experience two of the most influential electronic music festivals in the world within a single country and travel period. With further announcements on lineups, stage designs, and programming still to come, Thailand’s December festival calendar is set to become one of the most significant developments in global electronic music.
