Bangkok has been named the eighth best nightlife city in the world for 2025, according to Condé Nast Traveller’s latest list. The ranking highlights the city’s wide mix of late-night districts, steady flow of music events, and one of the highest concentrations of bars per square area, with 23 bars and pubs within every 100 square kilometers.

The recognition comes at a time when Bangkok’s electronic music scene is expanding faster than ever. International artists now treat the city as an essential Asia stop, and promoters continue to introduce new concepts that raise the standard of local nightlife. One of the biggest developments of the year is FVTURE, set to open in December as Southeast Asia’s first Hyperclub. The venue plans to combine large-scale production, a new visual style, and a format that is expected to push Bangkok further into global focus.

Bangkok’s growth is also supported by the clubs that have shaped the city’s identity over the past few years. ONYX remains one of Thailand’s most recognised clubs. Void Bangkok continues to build a name through its consistent events and international bookings. Elysium Immersive Club offers a strong visual-led experience, and MuIn has become another key venue in the city’s nightlife circuit. Together, these clubs represent the range of spaces that make Bangkok so active throughout the week.

Smaller venues and new concepts across Sukhumvit, Ratchada, RCA, and the riverside have also added depth to the city’s after-dark landscape. Bangkok now offers everything from cocktail-first rooms to mid-sized electronic spaces, giving visitors and residents more choice than ever before. This variety is one of the main reasons the city continues to climb global nightlife rankings.

Bangkok’s top ten placement reflects what many in Thailand have already seen. The city is entering a new phase, with more clubs, more event styles, and a growing community supporting electronic music year-round. With FVTURE preparing to open and major festivals returning soon, Bangkok is set for an even stronger presence throughout 2025.
