1001Tracklists and Tomorrowland Music have officially introduced their new label, 1001 Recordings, with a debut release titled “Take Me There.” The single features a rare collaboration between Matisse & Sadko, Third Party, and Sick Individuals, artists known for their melodic and progressive sound. This launch reflects both platforms’ long-standing influence in electronic music, with 1001Tracklists curating setlists from thousands of DJs worldwide and Tomorrowland Music operating under one of the world’s largest festival brands. “Take Me There” serves as the label’s opening statement, combining production styles that have shaped the mainstage sound over the past decade.

Although this is the first time all three acts have appeared together on one release, each has a deep history with both platforms. Matisse & Sadko have collaborated multiple times with Martin Garrix, including tracks like “Forever” and “Mistaken,” and frequently appear in mainstage sets at major festivals. Third Party, known for their work with Steve Angello and remixes for Armin van Buuren, have long been featured in progressive house playlists curated by 1001Tracklists users. Sick Individuals, the Dutch duo behind remixes for Madonna, Rihanna, and Avicii, have maintained a steady presence on Tomorrowland stages since the early 2010s. Together, their involvement in this debut single creates a clear link between the label’s curatorial roots and the artists that helped define the genre.

The debut release Take Me There sits firmly in the progressive house realm, balancing melodic builds with steady percussive structure. The song was first heard during live sets earlier this year and gained traction after it was played in full during a collaborative performance by Matisse & Sadko, Third Party, and Sick Individuals at World DJ Festival 2025 in Seoul.

The ID began circulating through fan-uploaded clips and was quickly linked to the rumored launch of 1001 Recordings. Leading up to the release, several artists hinted at a new label initiative involving Tomorrowland and 1001Tracklists, with small teaser announcements being made leading to the official drop of Take Me There on July 11. The release now serves as both the label’s debut and a reflection of its artistic direction.

The launch of 1001 Recordings brings together two platforms that have shaped the electronic music scene in different ways. 1001Tracklists has long been a go-to source for DJs and fans looking to follow what’s being played on stage, while Tomorrowland Music has pushed releases tied directly to one of the world’s most recognizable festivals. With Take Me There, the new label opens with a track that reflects both platforms’ history and the artists they’ve consistently supported. It’s a first release that feels connected to the culture rather than driven by hype, and it gives a clear sense of the direction 1001 Recordings might take next.

The launch of 1001 Recordings is not just marked by its first single. The label’s initial rollout focuses entirely on collaborative releases, aiming to create milestone moments with each track. After “Take Me There,” the next release will be the ‘B2U’ EP from Dillon Francis and Marten Hørger, scheduled for July 18. Both records tie directly into special back-to-back sets at Tomorrowland Belgium 2025, with Matisse & Sadko performing alongside Third Party, and Dillon Francis playing with Marten Hørger at The Library stage.

According to 1001Tracklists CMO Jacob Merlin, the label was a natural step to spotlight the artists and music already embraced by their global community. Backed by Tomorrowland Music’s worldwide recognition and 1001Tracklists’ data-led platform, the imprint has also confirmed upcoming tracks from Rafael Cerato, Wave Wave, Pavel Petrov, TH;EN, Matt Guy, and Volaris. While the first releases lean into progressive and bass house, the label is already building underground credibility, with unreleased material supported in sets by Solomun, CamelPhat, and Adam Beyer.
